After hearing stories about Mongolia, the designer Eri became curious about the Kazakh people. Wanting to learn more about the land, she began reading, and through that process came to know the Kazakh people and their delicate, symbol-rich embroidery culture.
The colorwork and knitted motifs of this cardigan were designed by drawing inspiration from the patterns found in Kazakh embroidery, shaped through this journey of exploration.
For the MC in this kit, we offer two yarn options.
One is Feathery Yak, our classic yak down woolen-spun yarn — soft against the skin, with deep, rich tones and a quiet sense of depth. The other option is Humble Woolen, spun from Small-Tailed Han sheep wool, chosen for its just-right softness, honest texture, and airy loft.
Both yarns are wonderfully lightweight, making this cardigan easy to wear in everyday life while still offering warmth and comfort.
Please note: For the “Color of Your Choice” option, color selection is available for the MC only. Please leave the name of your chosen MC color in the "Remarks for Shop" at checkout.
As for the CC, if you prefer not to use the preset color combination, you may purchase full skeins of Humble Woolen separately. We’re currently unable to offer winding into mini skeins for custom CC colors. Thank you for your understanding.
