This cowl is Taiwanese designer @rastus0226’s reworking of the iconic Skylar shawl, transforming the sweeping scale of the original into a lighter, more practical piece for everyday wear.

By playing with the proportions of two colors, the design creates a smooth, flowing gradient within a simple, steady rhythm. There are no complicated techniques or intricate stitch patterns—just basic knits, purls, and slipped stitches. It’s an easy, relaxing project that still gives you a really eye-catching result.

Knit in our lightweight Feathery Yak, it offers warmth without the weight. Worn close to the skin, this cowl lets you fully appreciate the yarn’s soft, delicate feel.

It can be wrapped twice around the neck for a cozy, relaxed fit, or worn by slipping one end through the opening of the other for a more secure, styled look.
